The Christmas Event is a seasonal event in Shell Shockers that takes place annually during December to commemorate the winter holidays. During this event, limited-edition Christmas-themed stamps, hats, and weapon skins are available for purchase in the shop. The event occurs at the same time each year and concludes at the same time, although not all skins are always reintroduced. The Christmas Event was first introduced in 2018 and has since returned annually, even during the 2019 event, which featured The Fall of Eggwalker, the Christmas skins were still added to the shop. Each year, new stamps and hats are introduced.

In 2021, BWD released a limited-edition Sleigh Set, which was available for a short period through a provided link. Since then, they’ve released the Sleigh Guns three more times, including the Cluck 9mm in 2021, the Scrambler in 2022, and the Free Ranger in 2023. Each Sleigh Gun features a unique texture created using red, yellow, and green.

After the winter event in 2022, the gold, white, and black weapon skins were temporarily discontinued. In 2023, a new set of red and white skins was introduced, priced at 3000 Golden Eggs, similar to the previous Eggsmas weapon skins. This new set was named the Holideggs Set. However, past skins from previous Eggsmas events will always be available for purchase. Even the original Christmas hats and stamps from 2018 have been reintroduced to the shop for the event.

The Christmas skins are vibrant in color, featuring bold shades of red, white, green, gold, and more. (Note that the initial set of Christmas weapon skins are gold and white, while the subsequent set is red and white.) Each Stamp and Hat is limited to a maximum of 2000 Golden Eggs in cost, while each Weapon Skin always costs 3000 Golden Eggs (with the exception of premium items like the MistleToes RPEGG, which requires real money to obtain).

In 2024, the old Christmas skins were brought back to the shop instead of the new Eggsmas skins.
