The Cluck 9mm also known as the Pistol (some skins only contain the 9mm tag), is a secondary (along with the Melee) in Shell Shockers which is the secondary weapon equipped for all primary weapons. It cannot be unequipped. The Cluck 9mm is semi-automatic and has a fast fire rate if spammed. It can hold 15 bullets in a magazine and the maximum damage of this gun is 26. Because of this, it is rarely seen as a weapon of choice for players. The default key to press is set to 'E' to switch to the Cluck 9mm; this can be changed in settings. The pistol is based on the Glock pistol. The default skin's colors are yellow, gray, black, and red.

This weapon is most commonly used as a method of close-quarters combats for players using the RPEGG, Free Ranger, or Crackshot classes. The pistol is used to kill enemies under 50 HP, because reloading a primary weapon takes more time to kill the enemy. The RPEGG class uses the pistol the most frequently because the RPEGG cannot perform well in close-quarter combat. Therefore, it is recommended to learn how to use the Pistol well before using the RPEGG class, despite the pistol being disadvantaged against every other weapon class.

Given that the Pistol is a sidearm, it is rare to see a player using it as their weapon of choice. It mainly comes into play when you run out of ammo on your primary and have to keep shooting. Since the gun is not very accurate and has only 15 rounds until a reload, it is recommended not to try shooting faraway enemies or not to waste shots as you might with the Whipper, or else they will have to upper hand while you are reloading, which takes a while due to the pistol's relatively slow reload. Weapon skins don't alter a player's performance in any way. Each bullet carton picks up 15 bullets. Currently, there are 73 Cluck 9mm skins in the game.

Tactics

• Unless you are using RPEGG AND are in close quarters combat with other eggs, it is suggested to rarely use this. With the Melee, the pistol is getting less and less used. However, that doesn't make the pistol completely useless. An enemy might be just out of reach to take damage from the melee, and spamming melee will make you an easy kill because it can be easily predicted you will move towards an enemy to use melee. When an enemy is running away, don't try to follow them too much; using pistol will be sufficient to get a kill, provided that the enemy is on low health.
• The pistol is a great weapon when the enemy is reloading or you need to reload. If they are reloading, try to stay close to them and click very fast while trying your best to track their hitbox.
• Changing your weapon to pistol is faster than reloading your primary, so when you need to be fast with your shots, it would be wise to change to the pistol. This is effective particularly in the case of the Free Ranger and Crackshot, where a slight shot may deal a good deal of damage, and the pistol can be used to finish the opponent off.
• Make sure to aim pistol bullets well, every shot counts with this weapon due to its weak damage, and not to spam unless your opponent is very close to you and low on HP.
• If needed, try to tap fire instead emptying the magazine and aim for the center of the opponent to kill them quickly and efficiently.
• When using pistol, scoping is not an effective tactic, and is not advised.
• In Crackshot 1v1s, the tactic of 'Pistol Baiting' is very effective. It entails shooting whilst an opponent's egg is hiding behind a structure and, since they heard or saw a bullet, they will come out of their hiding place. This is when you shoot them, securing the kill.

• This weapon is sometimes called "the weak tri-hard".
• It is one of the 2 secondary weapons, that are equipped by default regardless of which primary weapon you choose.
• The Melee is the other secondary weapon.
• The weapon's name is a pun on Glock 9mm. Glock being the manufacturer and 9mm being the ammunition.
• The weapon's magazine holds 15 rounds, judging by that, it could be similar to its real-life counterpart, the Glock 19, which shares the same magazine capacity and ammunition by default known for its compactness and reliability, heavily used by military and LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) around the world.
• When the entire magazine is empty, the character reloads by pulling out the magazine, inserting a new one, and racking the slide, chambering new rounds and possibly to avoid a misfire.
