Lunar Module is a map that was introduced in Version 0.50.3. The map was designed by the Blue Wizard Digital discord server's League Manager + Content Creator Mod, ZamsGod. It is a space themed map with a huge interior. The max amount of players that can join this map are 18 players. This map is an "inside-map" just like Rats.
Features
Overview
This map consists of three floors. The top floor contains the main base(s) for both red and blue team. The floor beneath it is accessible by a few flights of ramps; This floor is the intersection location between the teams. Lastly theres the bottom floor which is pretty small. This floor has a small area in the center, and four tunnels on the perimeter. The tunnels lead to ladders which lead to the second floor.
Blue Team Side
The Blue Team side (top floor) is similar to the red's base. It is very open, and is connected to the middle part of the map. There are ramps which lead to the middle section, which then lead to the red's base (keep walking straight). The side is decorated with gates and computers. The Blue Team side also has a base on the second floor, this is a lot more open and free and perfect for a range of weapons. However, it is more against the wall(s), some say its more narrow than open. There are steeper ramps that take the players to the base above them.
Red Team Side
The Red Team side (top floor) is similar to the blue's base. It is very open, and is connected to the middle part of the map. There are ramps which lead to the middle section, which then lead to the blue's base (keep walking straight). The side is decorated with gates and computers. The Red Team side also has a base on the second floor, this is a lot more open and free and perfect for a range of weapons. However, it is more against the wall(s), some say its more narrow than open. There are steeper ramps that take the players to the base above them.
Underground Intersection
The underground intersection is fairly small (on the bottom floor), compared to the intersection on the above floors. This area is tight which makes it hard for far range weapons to do their jobs. On the left and right sides of this area are side tunnels which take you to the second floor. On the second and top floors, the underground is more open. It is connected to the teams' bases.
Tactics
Most of the seven main weapons are great for the map, except for the RPEGG. Due to the map being an inside-map, there aren't as many ways to get above and get height leverage. Lunar Module consists of many corners and tight spaces where players can jump out and attack. Another reason is the distance an RPEGG bullet needs to be between an egg. Said before, the map has multiple compacted areas, so the bullets won't damage the egg at all. On the other hand, weapons like the Whipper, and the Crackshot are perfect options for Lunar Module. With these weapons you can chase, hide, and combat your opponents, as well as hold leverage when escaping, since they can deal considerable damage if your opponent goes for a risky play.
