Sanctuary is a map in Shell Shockers. Players can host or join servers on this map. The number of players in this map is 18 players. This map was designed by a community member named Zaxonius.
Features
Overview
This map is a features aspects from Timetwist, Spellbound, and Castle. It is a pretty long map which consists of a large underground space, mazes, and towers. Although, originally created with the grey castle block, the map was redesigned with the pink castle blocks.
Surface Maze
The maze above the underground is not that difficult to navigate compared to Timetwist. Players can easily find their way around the map because the height of the maze blocks are shorter. On the surface, there are some trap doors, long stairways that lead to the underground, and ladders for players to get onto the top of the map.
Undeground
The map is probably very recognizable due to its very large underground space. There are serveral entrances and exists to and from the underground space. Also, there are many long pathways and big open space for duels and getaways that lead to towers.
Tactics
Almost every weapon is good on this map. Sanctuary is very balanced when it comes to weapon tactics. Long range weapons are advised for players who prefer height over surface. Close range weapons are advised for players who like to walk around in the maze. And medium range weapons are perfect for players who decide to stay in the undergorund.
