Spellbound is a map in Shell Shockers. Players can host or join servers on this map. The number of players in this map is 12 players. The map is one of the original maps as the date which is was added is unknown. Spellbound is a map that was made in similar structure and design to the map Enchanted (including the whimsical skybox). Added to the game in Version 0.44.1.
Features
This map is a small square map with two towers on opposite corners of the map, with clouds at the top of the towers and a castle above the clouds.
Towers
On either side of the map are towers for the red and blue teams. These towers are great for sniping and “holding down the fort". The advantage of being at a tower is that you have a lot of control. You can spawn-kill many players who spawn below you, and it is just a perfect camping place. It is made out of pink blocks, along with the rest of the map.
Central Castle
In the center of the map is a big castle that goes through the clouds. A passageway is carved through it for running distances. On the clouds (above it) are pillars for parkour, and moving across the map (from red to blue locations).
Tactics
The Crackshot is often used on this map so that you can kill people on the other side of the map. Though there aren't many hiding spots there are some compacted area's which allow confusion in the opponents mind allowing you to make a quick move. The RPEGG also often seen on this map due to the height advantages of the towers. The Whipper could be used for close ranged encounters.
Trivia
- This map was called Cloudcastle at first before it got the name Spellbound.
